Privacy Policy

When you take a quiz, we collect:

• Your first name, last name, email address, phone number, and ZIP/postal code.
• Your answers to the 8 quiz questions.
• Whether you opted in to be contacted by the contractor.
• Where you came from (UTM parameters if you clicked a tracked link).
• Your IP address, used only for rate-limiting to prevent abuse.
• Standard browser/device info that any website receives (browser type, OS, screen size).

We also store a small amount of data in your browser's localStorage to let you resume a quiz you started but didn't finish. This data stays on your device and is cleared automatically when you complete the quiz.

When a contractor sets up their HomeBlindSpot account, we collect their business name, email, phone number, address, and branding assets (logo, colors).

Your quiz results are used to:

• Show you your HomeBlindSpot score, cost estimate, and recommendations on screen.
• Send you a copy of your results by email (your HomeBlindSpot Report).
• Notify the contractor whose quiz you took — so they can follow up if you opted in.

We also use anonymized, aggregated data (no names, no emails) to improve the quiz questions and scoring model.

The contractor whose quiz you took can see your name, email, phone, quiz score, and whether you opted in to be contacted. They see only their own leads — they cannot see leads from other contractors' quizzes.

HomeBlindSpot (NeedAgent AI) has access to all data for system administration, support, and anonymized product analytics.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

We use the following services to operate HomeBlindSpot:

• Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure (AWS).
• Resend — the email delivery service we use to send your report and contractor notifications.
• Vercel — where the HomeBlindSpot application is hosted.

Each of these services has its own privacy policy and security certifications. We do not share your data with any other third parties.

We use a session cookie to keep contractors logged into their dashboard. This cookie is essential for the service to work and cannot be opted out of while using the dashboard.

For homeowners taking a quiz, we use your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) to save your in-progress answers so you don't lose them if you close the tab. No tracking cookies are set on the quiz flow.

We retain your quiz submission data indefinitely so contractors can review their leads over time. If you'd like your data deleted, email us at info@needagent.ai and we will remove it within 30 days.

HomeBlindSpot is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data through our service, please contact us and we will delete it.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@needagent.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of HomeBlindSpot after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
